1 lb. ground beef
16 oz. can kidney beans
28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
2 cups water
1 onion diced fine
1 red pepper diced fine
1 Tbsp. chopped garlic
1 Tbsp. chili powder
½ tsp. paprika
½ tsp. cumin
½ tsp. dry oregano
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
olive oil
In a large soup pot, sauté onions in olive oil over medium heat. Add beef and brown until cooked through.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes.
