From Our Kitchen
2-4 medium ripe tomatoes
8 oz. fresh mozzarella
fresh basil
balsamic vinegar
extra virgin olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
Slice tomato and mozzarella into ΒΌ-inch slices. Slice basil leaves into thin strips.
Alternate tomato, mozzarella, and whole basil leaves overlapping on a plate. Drizzle with balsamic and olive oil and top with sliced basil leaves. Salt and pepper to taste.
