From Our Kitchen
1 small bag mesclun greens
¼ red onion (sliced thinly)
1 red grapefruit (cut into segments) - (reserve juice)
4 Ea large basil leaves (chopped ribbon like)
4 oz goat cheese (crumbled)
1 large tomato (sliced in wedges)
¼ cup candied walnuts
½ tsp. dry oregano
¼ cup Italian dressing
salt & cracked black pepper
In a large mixing bowl add all ingredients except walnuts and toss lightly with enough dressing to coat salad and mix. Garnish with candied walnuts.
Serves 4-5
